Clear, High-Gloss Shrink-Label Films

Feb. 3, 2005
Styrene butadiene copolymer (SBC) shrink-sleeve labels conform to virtually any shaped container.

K-Resin RK54 SBC full or partial-body labels have a typical shrink curve at 60°C. They reach maximum shrinkage of 75% at 95°C. This gives label users the best control of the film through the shrink tunnel. The resin also has a lower density (in the 1.02 range) and processing temperatures than PVD, PETG, and OPS films and provides 20 to 30% greater yields per pound of material.
