Cold Capillary Thermostats

April 27, 2006
The K Series of cold-capillary thermostats feature similar body styles, package size, SPST control, and a wide selection of preset temperature ranges, differentials, capillary lengths, and knob accessories.

The temperature range spans 25 to 104°F (32 to 40°C) and differentials from 5.4 to 25°F (3 to 14°C). The units handle 6 A at 250 V and include UL, cUL, and VDE approvals. They also feature contact resistance <50 m and a temperature tolerance of 2.7°F (1.5°C) at the calibration point. The KD Series has a SPST switch that closes on temperature rise while the KS Series incorporates an automatic defrost feature. The KP Series comes in standard and wide differential models and the KX Series includes an indicator light for high-temperature conditions.
