Free-Movement Lever

Sept. 16, 2004
A free-movement F-lever, now standard on Uhing rolling-ring linear drives, makes it possible to slide the drive unit, with its attached load, anywhere along the shaft without having to turn on the motor, which reduces wear and tear.

Uhing drives with the F-lever are suitable for production environments needing backlash-free linear motion where frequent, rapid repositioning of the drive head takes place, such as in converting and packaging equipment. Applications include winding, spraying, slitting, coating, measuring, and indexing. Twenty sizes are available to accommodate a wide range of shaft diameters and supply varying degrees of axial thrust from 7 to 800 lb.
