Free, Portable Linux OS

Aug. 10, 2006
Slax is a free, 177-Mbyte Linux OS that fits on a mini (3.14-in.) CD or USB flash drive.

The software runs directly without installing it. Typical live Linux systems restrict users to applications the developer has included. Slax, on the other hand, lets users customize a system by adding additional software in the form of compressed modules. slax.org
