Halogen-free flame-retardant polyamides - Rhodia

Dec. 7, 2010
The polymers meet processing, service, and regulartory requirements for the photovoltaic industry.

Technyl FR grade polyamides are flame retarded without halogenated compounds. Technyl A 60G1 V25, has been rated as passing 5VA and V-0 (flame retardancy) and ULF1 (weatherability) tests. Technyl A 50H1 has similar flammability properties and is easy to process for thin-walled photovoltaic connector applications.
