Help for die designers

Nov. 22, 2006
SmirtDieShop software lets die and pattern makers, machinists, and shop foremen extract information they need to build a die directly from a solid model without generating detailed plots or drawings.

The developer says the software is easy to use with minimal training. SmirtDieShop uses a plain text intuitive interface for all operations — no icons to memorize. The software contains all standard orthogonal and isometric views, and sectioning capabilities. Sections and views can be detailed using "attribute intelligent" balloons or dimensioned directly in 3D using ordinate, measure, and angular dimensioning tools.
