The Tritex II linear and rotary actuators support Ethernet/IP for communication between industrial control systems and components.

The Tritex II linear and rotary actuators support Ethernet/IP for communication between industrial control systems and components. Ethernet/IP lets operators send and receive data to operate the Tritex actuators with a machine automation-control system.

Features of the actuators include eight digital inputs, four digital outputs, and one analog input and output; feedback through analog Hall-effect and incremental encoders; and connectivity with internal terminals accessible through the actuator’s removable cover.

Tritex actuators offer the same form factor as hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, and serve as all-electric retrofits in former fluid-power applications. The units are available with many different mountings (metric or imperial), such as front flange, rear clevis mount, side mount, trunnion mount, extended tie rod, and rear flange.
