The DK50-UV Series luminescence sensors provide a means of error checking, sorting, measuring, and positioning materials that blend into a background or are invisible.
The DK50-UV Series luminescence sensors provide a means of error checking, sorting, measuring, and positioning materials that blend into a background or are invisible. The sensors detect marks such as inks, pigments, dyes, coatings, and adhesives — even on irregular backgrounds — and deliver a 600-mm sensing range. A small focal point of light spot means that small features on parts such as O-rings, pin-point leaks, and invisible markings, can be detected down to 2.2-mm-diameter targets. The sensors feature up to four automatic teach modes and one manual teach mode, allowing users to customize the sensor. A graphical user-friendly eight-segment LED display indicates luminescent signal strength, an output mode toggle for quick adjustments, and an integral timer that lets slower controllers react to sensor output.Pepperl+Fuchs, 1600 Enterprise Pkwy., Twinsburg, OH 44087, (330) 486-0001, www.pepperl-fuchs.com
