The Checker 101E machinevision sensor accepts encoder signals, eliminating the need for a PLC when tracking and rejecting parts on variable-speed production lines. The sensor uses patterns to detect and inspect parts, acquiring and processing over 500 images/ sec. It is said to have a simple, step-by-step setup.
