Fully qualified to AEC-Q100, the AS5140H 10-bit magnetic rotary encoder works in ambient temperatures up to 150°C.

The device recognizes 1,024 positions in one 360° turn, accessible with either a serial or pulse-width-modulation interface. One (of three) programmable output delivers a three-phase commutation signal for brushless dc motors.
