Make 3D Models From Digital Images

May 25, 2006
VX CAD/CAM lets users import digital raster images in any of the widely used file formats (JPG, BMP, GIF, and PNG) and the software then converts the images into 2D vector drawings, which can be used to extrude, revolve, or sweep into 3D, editable CAD geometry.

Users need not add any dimensions or geometric constraints and the data does not have to be separated into multiple sketches. Users can produce multiple 3D shapes using just one sketch object.
