Mechanical music machines

Dec. 27, 2006
A collection of mechanical musical instruments, music boxes, and automata has recently been awarded to the Morris Museum in New Jersey, which is showing 60 of the pieces on its Web site.

The site features both audio and video files so you can hear the music the instruments produce and see, in the case of the more elaborate automata, how the mechanisms work. morrismuseum.org/static/collections/guinness/guinness.html
