New Product: Ethercat Servodrives

Dec. 13, 2007
Servodrives delivering 18 and 36-A peak have Accelnet versatility and Ethernet speed for centralized control of multiaxis automation.

EtherCat’s data transmission lets 100 drives be updated in less than 100 μsec. The drives, AEP-90-18 and AEP-90-36, drive brushless and brush motors and run on 20 to 90 Vdc. Encoder feedback options include Endat 2.2, Hiperface, incremental, and analog. A Java-based drive configuration provides auto-tuning and makes setup and commissioning fast and simple. The drive measures 7.7 3.9 1.2 in; interfaces include two 100BASE-TX ports, analog ±10-V inputs, and several digital inputs and outputs.
