New Product: Intrinsically Safe Relay

April 24, 2008
The ISP Series of intrinsically safe relays, for use in hazardous conditions, consist of an control switch input and electromagnetic relay output.

The relay energizes when the switch closes and de-energizes when reopened. The switch minimizes the current level on the input side of the unit, therefore it can’t release enough energy to cause an accidental ignition of hazardous material. Features of the single-channel relay include isolated 10-A SPNO output contact, 24 or 120-Vac input voltage, and LED indicator. Typical applications include pump lift stations, liquid-level controls, grain elevators, refineries, and paint rooms.
