The 2MAJ NFPA nonlube pneumatic cylinder delivers precise load holding with virtually zero backlash.

The cylinder has holding forces equivalent to 100 psi on the cap end and comes in 1.5 to 8-in. bore sizes. Features of the device include a manual override to release the rod during nonproduction activities and bolt-on modularity that lets the rod lock be removed without affecting the base cylinder.
