Shaft Collars

Jan. 6, 2005
A complete line of Nomar shaft collars is available in aluminum, black-oxide carbon steel, and stainless steel.

The collars come in one and two-piece clampstyle designs with bore sizes from 1/ 8 to 6 in. in the inch series and 3 to 80 mm in the metric series. To ensure perpendicularity and proper alignment, the collars are singlepoint faced. Unlike traditional setscrew types, clamp-style shaft collars do not mar the shaft. The collars wrap around the shaft when tightened thus applying nearly uniform compressive stress on the circumference of the shaft.
