Tactile Switches

Jan. 25, 2007
HP and CB Series of environmentally friendly, through-hole and surface-mount tactile switches feature 6-mm-square bodies with terminals and gold or silver contacts.

The HP Series is rated at 500,000 operations (minimum) for both electrical and mechanical life. A CB Series has sealed bodies to prevent contamination during soldering and cleaning, and is rated for an electrical and mechanical life (minimum) of 100,000 operations. Crimped terminals on through-hole models ensure secure mounting and prevent dislodging during soldering. Surface-mount versions have gull-wing terminals for mechanical stability. Actuators are flat with thin profiles. All actuators and bases meet UL flammability ratings for 94V-0.
