Transparent Films For Medical Use

Nov. 9, 2006
Two new polyurethane films, on transparent matt-casting liners, make them almost invisible when applied to the skin.

The films are suitable for the design and manufacture of low-glare incise materials for operating theaters and in wound-care products. The materials come in a 30- m highly breathable format or a cost-effective 20- m standard format. Either version can be supplied with or without adhesive. The liners have carefully engineered peel characteristics for ease of processing.
