UV-Curing Surface Masks

June 7, 2006
Speedmax 700 Series of surface-finish masks cure quickly under UV light.

This shortens metal finishing times, while protecting surfaces, edges, and internal cavities from damage. The masks are said to resist acids and plating solutions better than traditional tapes, lacquers, and waxes. They adhere well to surfaces and withstand debris from HVOF, grinding, peening, and grit blasting. They come in three grades based on removal method — high adhesion burn-off, peelable, and water soluable.
