Wizard for making inlays

April 26, 2007
VX hybrid solid-modeling software includes a new Inlay wizard that works with the program's Wrap command to wrap a planar sketch onto any face curvature.

The wizard adds shapes and 3D text to models, such as mold designs, to produce subtle inlays or slightly raised bosses with user-specified draft reliefs and blend fillets. Users can edit parameters at any time.
