Adjustable legs that support working surfaces make tables and benches safer and more comfortable places to work, especially for people with disabilities. Engineers at ErgoSwiss, a company whose products are distributed by American Sales Development, Fairfield, Conn. (americansalesdevelopment.net), have made a device that lets companies or individuals add adjustable legs to almost any work surface. Users can manually or automatically raise and lower surfaces by 19.5 in. using hydraulics, and the legs support up to 1,320 lb.
