Options include smaller bores, keyways, square and hexagon bores, shorter lengths, and quick-release types. Hardened-steel pin types meet DIN 808-G and need lubrication. The manufacturer recommends PVC rubber covers filled with grease or highspeed, angle-forced oil lubrication for adverse conditions. Steel joints meet DIN 808-G & W. A hand-operated telescopic joint comes with unhardened pins.
