Mercury-free level switches

Oct. 25, 2007
The Tri-Magnet Switch can replace mercury-based level switches without removing the existing chamber.

There are several available switches: a 10-A switch is for general-purpose duties up to 480°F; a 5-A switch for applications up to 750°F; and a hermetically sealed switch for low temperatures, contaminated atmosphere environments, and intrinsically safe circuits. All moving parts and contacts are enclosed in a stainless-steel enclosure filled with an inert gas. Single and double-pull-switch models are available.
