Ac-dc power supplies

Aug. 30, 2013
The MVAD040 and MVAD065 open-frame, convection-cooled ac-dc power supplies are up to 90% efficient and designed for use in medical and health-care appliances, data storage and networking, and industrial factory-automation systems.
The 40 and 65-W supplies do not require additional heat sinking or forced-air cooling to operate at full output power. No load power consumption is less than 0.3 W. The units accept input voltage range from 90 to 264 Vac and are available with a 12, 24, or 48‑Vdc output. Operating temperature start up is as low as –20°C. The MVAD065 features remote sense, which compensates for lead losses up to 0.4 Vdc at the load point. The MVAD Series has a MTBF of 1 million hr.Murata Power Solutions Inc., 11 Cabot Blvd., Mansfield, MA 02048, (508) 339-3000, www.murata-ps.com
