The ATHD series of heavy duty connectors from Amphenol Industrial now includes size 8 and size 12 power contacts. The single pole, rugged, in-line connection systems are designed to replace splices and provide power. Using Radsok technology, the connectors can reach higher amperages. The size 8 system is rated to 70 amps continuous with the Radsok terminals and has a contact retention of 156 N. The size 12 system is rated to 35 amps continuous with the Radsok terminals and has a contact retention of 133 N. Both sizes can perform up to 100 mating cycles and have an operating tempertature range of -55° to 125°C. The series features clip slots for a variety of harness mounting solutions and are ideal for rugged, high vibration applications.
