Machine Design was invited out to tour Bosch Rexroth’s Open House, hosted by its partner the Morell Group, highlighting its Smart Factory Industry 4.0 technology. Smart Factory technology utilizes interconnected machines to create a smart, accurate, efficient, and predictive system. This system communicates with not only engineers and plant managers via touchscreen interfaces, but also with the other machines that are connected within the network. The result is a system that communicates in real time, affecting productively instantly. Besides its Smart Factory technology, Bosch Rexroth had its latest products on display, along with products from partnering companies.
