The unit is about the size of a baseball and weighs around one-third of a pound. The scanner’s 270° scanning range makes it suitable for discrete I/O and field-detection applications in the robotics, logistics, and building-automation industries. With 16 preconfigured fields, the TiM310 can be configured in less than 5 min.
