The expanded VeriSens XC series of vision sensors from Baumer are optimized for automation tasks in packaging, pick and pack, assembly monitoring, product encoding, and quality assurance applications.

The expanded VeriSens XC series of vision sensors from Baumer are optimized for automation tasks in packaging, pick and pack, assembly monitoring, product encoding, and quality assurance applications. The VGA and 1.2 megapixel models incorporate a patented FEX image processor for stable image evaluation at varying light conditions or object colors, an integrated flash controller with either 48 V or 4 A pulse to power and actuate external illumination, and a configurable web interface. A Color FEX assistant allows for the simple setup of 3D color identification and definition—object colors and their shades are automatically identified and visualized in 3D as color spheres. This results in the absence of sphere collisions to further ensure reliable color inspection.
