The site says the design came from a collaboration among IDEO, Art Center, Nissan Design America, Troy Lee Designs, Scaled Composites, and Icon Aircraft. The 22-ft-long Icon A5 amphibious sport plane's wings fold inwards so the vehicle can fit on the back of a trailer a car can pull. According to the site, the A5 recently won an IDEA award and will sell next year for $139,000.
