A Clean in Place (CIP) Utilities and Automated Reporting Analytics package, developed by Emerson, can optimize utilities consumption and generate automated reports as part of an energy reduction and productivity improvement plan. The software can serve either a single system or be applied throughout a plant or facility. The package is delivered via PACEdge and Movicon platforms on an industrial edge control device. The software converts manual and semi-automated systems into digital systems. It is used to optimize utilities consumption, benchmark cycles and generate automated reports.
Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Automation Expert Portfolio
Schneider Electric has extended its EcoStruxure Automation Expert portfolio to the water desalination market. EcoStruxure Automation Expert V23.0, the latest addition to the platform, provides end-to-end digital continuity and enables factories, water and wastewater treatment facilities and manufacturing plants to be more efficient and effective. The solution represents a new approach to designing, building, operating and maintaining industrial automation systems.

Red Lion, a manufacturer of technologies that help industrial organizations access, connect and visualize data, launched N-Tron Series NT5000 Gigabit Managed Layer 2 Ethernet switches. Not all switches are equipped with the layered network security to help prevent unauthorized access. The NT5000 boasts password encryption, multilevel user access and MAC security, and IEEE 802.1X with RADIUS remote authentication.
Rockwell Automation AB Micro850 and Micro870 PLC Systems
Rockwell Automation expanded the capabilities of its Micro850 and Micro870 PLC systems to offer more connectivity, simple integration to PowerFlex 520 series and Kinetix 5100 drives via predefined tags, and easy programming to drives with the use of Connected Components Workbench software version 21 or later.
