Six-axis hexapods enable new levels of flexibility in precision automation and assembly applications, including aerospace, automotive, photonics & semiconductor manufacturing. Hexapods can also actively stabilize mechanical platforms in 6-DOFs. Integration is facilitated by EtherCat interfaces. With load capacities from a few pounds to one ton and more and travel from 10 to hundreds of millimeters while maintaining sub-micron alignment precision, hexapod robots are enabling new production possibilities.
