MotorSolve v4 software for electric machine design includes an FEA module for switched-reluctance machines. Users can select between a rapid static FEA solve (for early in the design process) or a dynamic non-linear FEA simulation (for final design verification). Outputs include standard performance charts and field plots. Users can access results either with export functions or the use of the clipboard.
