XYZ stage
A new heavy-duty, three-axis positioning system affixed to a granite platform targets medical-dispensing applications. The system has two PMT160-300-SM stages for the X and Y axis and one LTP60-50-SM for the Z axis. The 120‑kg unit measures 71 × 67 × 50 cm. The system offers < ±20‑μm positional accuracy; < ±5-μm repeatability; 1‑μm resolution, which is adjustable with software control; and a MDRIVE controller.
