More than 50,000 attendees inside McCormick Place in Chicago prowled through several acres of the latest in packaging equipment, featuring everything from pallet packers to cracker stackers. The products combined innovative mechanical, electrical, material, chemical, and even civil engineering, with lots of motion control, machine automation, and material handling, along with a nod toward the Internet of Things. Here are just some of the items that caught my eye.
