Acrylic-foam tape

Oct. 25, 2007
PHB2000 acrylic-foam tape features an extremely strong, pressure-sensitive bond in applications ranging from window-muntin bar at tachment and signage to consumer appliances and skin-to-skin assembly.

It features a high-tack acrylic adhesive on both sides and bonds to most substrates, replacing the need for mechanical fasteners and welds. The tape also helps damp vibration and sound and withstands moisture and subzero temperatures without losing adhesion. It is flexible, moldable, and compressionable, letting it conform to intricate shapes during assembly. PHB2000 comes on rolls in 0.045-in. thickness with widths of 3/16 to 18 in. Free samples are available.
