The general-purpose OMAT Series ac motors are constructed of industrial-gauge rolled steel and have Class F insulation. The totally enclosed fan-cooled 56C frame motors are inverterduty capable with a 5:1 speed turndown for variable torque applications and a 2:1 speed turndown for constant torque use. The three-phase, 208-230/460-V motors come in 0.33 to 2 hp and a speed of 1,800 rpm.
