The Powder Metallurgy (PM) Design Excellence Awards competition celebrated its 50^th anniversary this year. These awards were presented during the 2014 World Congress on Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials, which is run by the Metal Powder Industries Federation.

The awards have helped benchmark the advancements and capabilities of PM processes like press-and-sinter and metal injection molding. Here are the nine 2014 Award of Distinction winners.
