Here’s a list of variables used to define the characteristics of bolts and used in formulae and equations describing bolts and their behavior in joints.

Here’s a list of variables used to define the characteristics of bolts and used in formulae and equations describing bolts and their behavior in joints. The types of units used for each variable are also given. L, for example is length; F is force, rad is radian, and nd stands for non-dimensional, which is used for constants, factors, and ratios. Any consistent set of units may be used to represent these.
