The new KW200 servo inverter expands the AMKASYN family to cover a rated power of 200 kVA. The 320 × 228 × 425-mm unit’s renewable brake energy contributes to its efficiency. When the brake is applied to the connected servomotor, which provides energy to the inverter, energy is fed into the intermediate circuit and other inverters in the system use this energy.
If there is no accepter for the energy in the intermediate circuit, it is fed back to the mains sinusoidally via the KES compact power supply. STO in PLe can be implemented with each of the devices, and additional security is available through an optional KW-R07 safety-controller card. The devices have a fieldbus interface to EtherCAT, Varan, and CANopen.
