Emerson’s AVENTICS Series SPRA Rod-style Electric Actuators Offer 3 Screw Technologies

July 12, 2023
With three screw technologies, the AVENTICS Series SPRA rod-style electric actuators can meet application requirements for automotive, food and beverage, packaging and life sciences industries.

Emerson’s AVENTICS Series SPRA actuators have a modular concept for easy connection to motor and control systems, which saves time and cost on design and programming. They offer three screw technologies, including a precision ball screw, which provides durability and accuracy for applications that need optimal quality or throughput, a cost-effective lead screw option and roller screws for precision, speed and heavy loads.

Key features of the actuators include:

  • multi-positioning with high level of precision and repeatability
  • available in size 32, 40, 63 and 100
  • flexibility in mounting cylinders
  • compliant with ISO 15552 standard
  • a range of accessories offered
  • can be sized and customized with interconnected online tools and configurator.

High-grade Materials, Online Tools for Reliability

The cylinders are suitable for use in the automotive, food and beverage, packaging and life sciences industries. SPRA actuators are compliant with the ISO-15552 standard, which also allows for a range of accessories. They are made with high-grade materials, including an IP54S sealing system, to ensure reliability in harsh conditions.

Interconnected online tools can size and customize electric actuators, with no software installation or registration necessary. The configuration includes a direct download of CAD files with all elements of the configured solution, such as electric cylinder, accessories, mounting options and motor adapter.
