Oct. 28, 2013
Planetary gearhead
The high-torque Faulhaber 15/10 planetary gearhead Series is reportedly the first standard gearhead to come in a 15-mm diameter.

The unit’s stainless-steel design and precision manufacturing processes allow it to achieve intermittent torque up to 500 mNm, with a 350-mNm continuous duty torque.

The gearheads come in one to five stage versions with 30 different standard reduction ratios from 3.33:1 to 1,367:1.

The Series is available with sintered-sleeve or ball-bearing configurations and operates in temperatures from –30 to 100°C.
