Solar-tracking motors
The newly extended STM (Solar Tracker Motor) line now includes All-in-One brushless-dc motors with optional onboard inclinometer and optional direct inclinometer input.
The STM motors feature integrated power and control electronics and fieldbus communication, with planetary, worm, or Wormetary gearing options. The motors mount onto various slewing gear and linear-actuator options.
The motors are networked in groups of up to 65,535 tracking axes and interface directly with the main power plant tracking controller, eliminating the need for many components currently found on traditional tracking systems.
