A dyno for lawn-mower engines

A new test system from Sakor Technologies Inc., Okemos, Mich., targets small two and four-cycle engines in equipment such as small outboard motors, lawn-care tools, and generators.

The system comes in sizes from 5 to 30 kW. The ac-motoring dynamometer is said to control speed and torque over a wide dynamic range, making it possible to test a broad range of engines.
