Drives take on many motors

May 6, 2004
Volts/Hertz ac drives feature isolated front ends and come in NEMA-4X aluminum enclosures.

The VFDA4X04-D230-PCM and VFDF4X04-D230-PCM have a minimum speed-adjustment potentiometer, dc injection braking, and automatic and manual restarts. Units can accept a speed reference signal without a separate isolation card and work with three-phase induction, single-phase permanent split-capacitor, shaded-pole, and synchronous motors. Available to 1.5 hp, enclosures can be either gray or USDA-rated white epoxy for food environments.
