Distribution Agreement Signed

    Ametek Pittman Inc. made a distribution agreement with Avnet Electronics Marketing, so that Avnet will be a worldwide stocking distributor for all Pittman products.

    Pittman makes motor for data storage, medical and electronic equipment, factory automation, and commercial aviation, while Avnet is a major motor modifier. According to a company spokesperson, the deal combines the technical and product expertise of Pittman with the mechanical and electrical modification capabilities of Avnet.
