Thermoformer is largest in the West

    Five flatbed trailers were needed to move the largest rotary thermoforming machine in the Western U.S. from Michigan to California.

    The custommade Modern 1018 223 machine features a forming window 10 3 18 ft. According to its owner, Ontario, Calif.based Ray Products, this brings a competitive advantage over its Midwest and offshore competition. The machine allows customers, described as parts designers and OEMs, to thermoform extremely large parts.
