Minarik Automation & Control, a leading value-added national motion distributor, is pleased to announce record sales for the 1st Quarter of 2004. "This is a terrific achievement considering our almost 20% growth in 2003. It is a great indicator that our investments back into our organization and our people are paying off" said John Hegel, President and CEO. "As the economy and manufacturing continues to rebound, Minarik is well positioned to provide customers with quality product lines, value-added capabilities, and responsive customer service. We invested heavily in the training of our people and the infrastructure of the organization. We want to provide our customers with the best value that we can and provide our suppliers with the most competent and qualified representatives in the market for their products and technologies.", Hegel added. This sales increase is a continuation of a 3 year trend for Minarik, with 2003 year end sales up 18% over 2002.

In the attempt to gain even more market share and provide better service, Minarik has continued to expand during down times. The addition of more quality inside and outside sales people, the development of more Minarik University training programs, and the upgrade of information systems, have all lead to a stronger foundation for future sales and market presence. The Minarik sales force also ranks as one of the top groups in the motion control industry. They are capable of assisting customers in solving complex motion control and automation applications, serving as the liaison between customers and suppliers, making sure that the right solution is implemented.

Minarik Automation & Control, headquartered in Glendale, CA, is a national distributor of motion control and automation products. In addition to Minarik's 18 strategically located branches across the United States, Minarik has two Value-Added Centers in Anaheim, Ca and Plano, TX for applications requiring partial integration or machine sub-assembly manufacturing. Minarik will add a third Value-Added Center located in the Chicago area this year. Minarik's Vision and commitment is to be the best "Value-added motion control distributor in the industry".
