East coast medical show highlights design, automation
The Medical Design & Manufacturing (MDM) East Exposition and Conference will run from June 11 to 14 in the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in New York, N.Y. One admission covers four colocated shows: Atlantic Design & Manufacturing, East Pack, Automation Technology Expo (ATX), and Plastec.
The Atlantic Design & Manufacturing show encompasses LaserTec, CAD/CAM/Enterprise Technology, PrecisionTec, Quality, Contract Manufacturing, and Electronics pavilions. ATX East features the latest in automation including assembly, control software/hardware, motion control, robotics, sensors, and vision inspection. Leading suppliers from the medical/pharmaceutical, automotive/transportation, aerospace/defense, food/beverage, cosmetics/personal care, and electronics/IT/instrumentation industries will be on hand.
Plastec East showcases exhibitors of interest to manufacturers including primary processing machinery, CAD and CAM, production machinery, contract services, materials, molds, automation technology, materials handling/logistics, and enterprise IT.
East Pack will highlight packaging technology for machinery and components including containers, materials, software, and robotics. Separate pavilions focus on Cosmetic & Personal Care Packaging; Medical/Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical Packaging; Material Handling & Logistics, and Contract Packaging & Outsourcing Services.
