Two-stage telescoping cylinder from TRD Manufacturing and Bimba

The space-saving two-stage telescoping air cylinders from TRD Manufacturing Inc., a Bimba company in Machesney Park, Ill. (www.trdmfg.com), can use 46% less space than traditional cylinders with the same 60-in. stroke. They are rated to pressures of 125 psi and come in 0.75, 1.5, and 2.50-in. bores. The cylinders are 100% double acting and are made of anodized aluminum, but stainless-steel versions are available. The cylinders are rated as being lubed for life, which reduces maintenance time and costs.
