3D Systems Buys Rapidform

3D Systems (www.3dsystems.com) recently purchased Rapidform, Seoul, South Korea, a provider of 3D scan-to-CAD and inspection software. Rapidform software combines scan-data processing, mesh optimization, auto surfacing, and CAD modeling in a single package. 3D Systems expects Rapidform to contribute $15 million in revenue.
